Greetings Marching Band!
Music Association is scheduled for a fire company breakfast at the Pioneer Hose in Robesonia on Sunday, February 18, from 7am – noon. We are looking for a lot of parent and student help for that day. Use this sign up genius below to sign up.
We used to do breakfasts there regularly in about 2010-2012 but stopped doing them as student and parent help waned. “Back in the day” we would usually PROFIT anywhere from $700-1200 per breakfast. To put this in perspective, we spent close to $4000 this fall on all elements of our marching band show. Indoor season is here, and we bought a new floor for the guard and finished buying ‘the rest’ of the new drums for percussion. This would be a great opportunity for us to make some cash!
But, to be successful, we need YOUR HELP! I know we can do it! We need volunteers to work that morning and we need a lot of word of mouth/social media to get the word out there. Students, this counts as community service hours.
I am the coordinator/point person so if there are questions, direct them to me. We are not taking donations of food- but rather donations of $20 (or more) towards purchasing the food. We need to make sure that there is consistency among all the food we sell that day.
I also created a poster- attached- and please feel free to publicize this as much as you can! I’ll have some print copies available at school. The signing up will all be online through signup genius.
